Caravan: An Inspiring Journey
with Kilometre Paris

At Kilometre Paris, each piece seeks to tell a story of travel through Couture & Embroidery. With our ‘Caravans', we invite you to join us on our worldly travels and experience unique events in which fashion meets storytelling.

Through our stops around the world, we shine lights on each of our 'muses': those exceptional individuals who inspire us with their passions and their individuality. These encounters offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in a universe where each garment, crafted with care & detail, represents a journey, an enriching experience which we hope to share.

Under the direction of Alexandra Senes and with the eyes of talented photographers such as Sarah Forgie, Bennu Gerede & Julie Ansiau, we've documented these exchanges, offering an intimate & authentic way of celebrating at our creations. This First edition of Caravan takes place in Melbourne, with 13 inspiring muses, each of whom enrich our adventure. Join us for an experience wherein fashion and creativity offer to take you on the journey of a lifetime.

Iskra Galic defines herself as a Heartist—and we wholeheartedly agree! Our muse of the day is a young Australian painter, a bit of a magician. Thanks to her PhD in Psychology, Isra has gained access to many in need of healing, developing a unique partnership between conventional methods, energy work and artistic channelling.

From her hands emerge colorful canvases that place femininity at the center of her aesthetic. Iskra is like Cocteau making love to Picasso, or Matisse meeting Niki de Saint Phalle.

In her Brentwood studio, we stepped into the universe of this woman, for whom every canvas is destined to become a portal to healing. She develops her art not only to heal humans through a cathartic artistic process but also through the power of her own hands.

Tobias Churcher moves within the equally select yet punk & queer sphere. This psychologist & marketing consultant, whom heads the company Bendelta, hasn’t forgotten to be handsome. While a sharp mind lies beneath the angelic face of this golden boy, our project « Caravan Melbourne » will mostly remember his sex-appeal & his versatile beauty. It was therefore impossible not to have him wear our Piece Unique, original XIXth century men uniform.

Joe is undeniably a handsome young man. He burst onto the scene like a gust of wind through the window of our Caravan Melbourne project. Joe is not just a model with unapologetically queer vibes. This aesthete & nature lover is the mastermind behind the Rtreet project, offering luxury retreats in the Australian bush.

Caravan Melbourne couldn’t miss the chance to meet this angelic figure who so perfectly embodies the spirit of our timeless Piece Unique.

Lisa Fox is a family person. Rather than getting lost in the hustle and bustle of the city, this homebody invites us to have a drink at home with her nearest and dearest. After you find time to leave the comfort of her home, spending 24 hours in Melbourne with her would be a stroll through the alternative maze of Fitzroy in search of a little unnecessary pleasure.

This patron of the arts and collector of rare fabrics will take us on a tour of Portsea Beach with the necessary stop at the National Gallery of Victoria (with which Lisa often collaborates), and the Melbourne Botanic Gardens. To finish with a hint of the Français, she would surprise us with the best pepper steak in town at Chez France-Soir (in South Yarra), a place at which she always orders the same meal (because it’s just THAT good).

Caravan Melbourne takes us to meet Sarah Nedovic. Sarah is light—or rather, the entire process that leads us there.
This brilliant ceramicist puts her expertise at the service of raw materials, from which she draws out delicacy.

An investigator of traditional techniques, Sarah invited us into her universe, one that is both organic and minimalist. She explores form and function, the creative process, and the purpose of her work. Through her creations, she brings forth light and clarity, illuminating our Australian journey.

Sandra Powell is a street art collector, an innovative force in the art world, and, ultimately, the queen of curators.
As a creative figure in the art world, she works alongside her husband, Andrew King, and is celebrated for her unique ability to blend high art with urban aesthetics. She challenges traditional boundaries and expectations.

This former fashion industry figure turned to street art after falling in love with the works of artists like Banksy and Blek le Rat.
Together, the couple, known as "Sandrew," has amassed Australia’s largest collection of urban artists. Sandra embodies artistic activism, proving that art doesn’t stagnate in dusty old museums.

From the hidden gems of Byron Bay to a world-renowned farm-to-table restaurant called Harvest to a tasteful shopping spree in Bangalo, our muse takes us into her universe—whimsical, sprawling, and as vibrant as her personality.

Today, Caravan Melbourne shines a spotlight on Lynn Burmeister. The fertility doctor welcomed us into her laboratory, where a maze of machines and test tubes coexists with the infectious joy of this vibrant woman. The founder of Melbourne’s No.1 Fertility laboratory shared her enthusiasm and creative energy, which she dedicates to supporting women.
In this sense, Lynn Burmeister is undoubtedly cultivating one of the most vital and essential forms of craftsmanship!

Today, we're revealing the secret spot of Kate Alstergen, the captain of @satelliteisland, whom we met in southern Melbourne. With her words, she takes us around Satelli Head Island, located on Tasmania's southeast coast.
It always feels like the perfect time for an outdoor escape on an Oceanic island with this lover of all things sea, nature, and wide open spaces.

Skye is funny, unpredictable, generous and gorgeous. This art enthusiast, completely offbeat, takes us into her colorful universe, where nothing ever goes as planned.
Skye is passionate about art, fashion & decoration.
From MCM House, which she saw come to life alongside Charles Hinckfuss, to her role as the right-hand of her late husband & Australian art guru Tim Klingender, she has always been immersed in aesthetics, and it suits her perfectly.

The beautiful Australian is vibrant, colorful, & a little crazy, and that's why our project « Caravan Melbourne » couldn't have gone without her as a muse. Divine in our Piece Unique.

Fiorina Golotta, the founder of the jewelry brand @fiorinajewellery takes us to Airlie Beach to experience the salt water as a means of healing.

Between her religious connection to the ocean, her tight links with handwork, and craft that she sees as mantras, Bibi gives us some heartfelt places to retreat to for a breath of fresh air.

Through a nibble at Carter Lovett for breakfast or a decadent plate of pasta at Cafe Di Stasio, we find ourselves stuffed full of food made with love. Since her clubbing days are over, 24 hours in her company is perfect for all foodies !
