Les Deux-Amis is actually one of our very favorite spot in Paris. Like really. It hits the top. Took over by David Vincent-Loyola, who used to work at Le Chateaubriand, this small bar soon became one of the hotspots of the ever-changing rue Oberkampf and one of the best place in town to go an have a drink on any night.
You know you’ll always find there a cheerful crowd and will never leave the place without a few new friends. This is probably due to the size of the restaurant. And because of that dont except to show up there on a Saturday night without a reservation and get a table. But dont take a reservation. Just go there and sneak at the bar to enjoy one of the many great tapas, and a amazing jamon or burrata. Start with a glass of organic cider and carry on with the advices of the bartenders as they have a perfect selection of organic wines. Just feel the euphoria get you under the neon light, go for cigarettes on the street, and let the night take you wherever it wants.
This is also a great place to have lunch with friends or business partners and taste the perfect plates of the reasonably priced daily menu.
