Cabo Blanco, Montezuma, Costa Rica

In 1963 two nature-loving Swedish immigrants, Olof Wessberg and Karen Mogensen, purchased Cabo Blanco and convinced the government to name it the first nature reserve in Costa Rica. Today Cabo Blanco is recognized as one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Costa Rica and is a true illustration of the country’s commitment to conservation.
