In the late 18th century, Jean-Vincent Bully started to become famous with his cosmetics and perfumes and soon was well-known as a beauty master, and earned a reputation across Europe thanks to his skills as as distiller, perfumer, and cosmetician. L’Officine universelle Buly is reborn today, thanks to the passion of Victoire de Taillac and Ramdane Touhami on rue Bonaparte in the sixth arrondissement and sells the most desirable cosmetics products in an old-fashioned packaging.
Behind apothecary counters, inspired from the historical Bully shop, you’ll find simple and natural ingredients with absolutely no trace of paraben or silicone and water-based perfumes. Just let yourself be guided through their huge selection of natural oils and clays by one of the experts who will give you personal advices. We particularly love the Iris root powder for a glowing skin. It’s so hard to make a choice, that you’ll probably be leaving with a few of them, and maybe with “the most chic toothbrush in the world” manufactured in France or a french comb made of horn. Our favourite : their so precious “pot-pourri” for an everlasting smell good house.
